Warren Coleman
Chief Investment Officer
I am Warren Coleman, CFA and I joined what is now Telarray in 2005 after a 20-year career in the Navy. I serve as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer.
During my naval career, I served onboard three nuclear powered submarines operating in four oceans in support of missions on five different continents. During my 13 years either stationed overseas or deployed underway, I learned the value of teamwork, precise communications, urgent decision-making skills, and effective leadership of diverse organizations under stressful situations. I retired from the Navy with the rank of Commander.
At the firm, I lead the Investment Group in conducting research, implementing portfolios, and managing assets for individual clients, trusts and 401(k) retirement plans. I also lead Telarray’s Investment Committee in designing portfolio allocations and devising new investment strategies, keep clients abreast of current economic conditions and relevant market trends, and supervise the firm’s trading desk. I earned my Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2006.
I have an undergraduate degree in physics with a minor in mathematics from Vanderbilt University, as well as an MA in Management from Bowie State University, and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
I love working with the greatest financial team in the country!
