How did you get into financial planning and investing?

My earliest memories come from hearing my parents and grandparents talk about stocks in casual conversation. As I grew up, I learned the importance of investing and immediately became interested in the field as a career. My goal has always been to help others achieve financial success.
What is your greatest career success?
I am still in the beginning phase of my career — my title is Securities Trader here at Telarray — but I would say earning my bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis has been my greatest success so far. I also enjoyed competing in both the CFA Research Competition and the Bloomberg Challenge while I was in college.
What has been the most significant learning experience in your career?
Here at Telarray, I am fortunate to be surrounded by professionals with decades of experience, and they all say that they are still learning. I am grateful that they preach the importance of constantly learning and seeking higher education.
When people you have worked with talk about you, what do they say?
They say that I am always up for the next challenge and will gladly volunteer for a project. I bring a positive attitude to my work, and I hope that positive energy helps others in their day.
